Night Flight NIT(H)
This course qualifies pilots, holding at least a PPL(H) license, to fly at night.
The training includes a minimum of 5 hours of flight time with at least 30 landings and a cross-country flight. Candidates must have at least 100 hours of flight experience, including 60 hours as pilot-in-command (PIC), including 20 hours of cross-country flight.
Private pilots (PPL(H)) also require 10 hours of simulated instrument flight training in a helicopter, of which 5 hours of simulator time can be counted.
High Mountain Flights and Landings (MOU(H)
The MOU License is Swiss peculiarity and authorizes you to perform landings on official high mountain landing sites during private flights, as well as commercial flights if you hold a CPL(H) license.
The training will provide you with intense emotions amidst the magnificent panorama of the Swiss Alps. Before starting the training, you must have at least 100 hours of flight experience.
At least 200 high mountain landings are required, including 50 landings up to 2,000 m and 150 landings on official landing sites. The landings must be performed on at least 20 different landing sites, 10 of which must be above an altitude of 2,700 m. The training concludes with a test flight supervised by an expert. of the Federal Aviation Authority.
Fog Departure HDF(H)
This course authorizes a pilot, holding a CPL(H) license, to conduct takeoffs in fog and high fog.
The training includes 8 hours of simulator training and at least 8 hours of simulated instrument flight, during which the pilot learns to fly the helicopter using the onboard instruments.
Helicopter External Sling Load Operations (HESLO)
Training to transport material on the cargo hook is a fundamental prerequisite for employment as a pilot with a helicopter air transport company.
