Want to fly your own helicopter or rent one of ours? Make your dream come true and become a private pilot.

By passing the theory exams and having at least 45 hours of experience, you'll gain access to the final skills test to obtain a private helicopter pilot license. This will authorize you to fly with friends and family, or for a pleasure flight to discover our magnificent region from a new perspective.

Prerequisites:

• Age 16+
• EASA-FCL Class 1 or 2 medical certificate

The 9 subjects:

• Aircraft Law
• Human Factors/Medicine
• Navigation
• Meteorology
• General Aircraft Knowledge
• Flight Performance and Planning
• Principles of Flight/Aerodynamics
• Operating Procedures
• Radio Communications

Practical Part:

• Minimum 45 hours of flight instruction
• Simulated practical exam with a flight school instructor
• Final skill test supervised by a Swiss Aviation Authority (FOCA) instructor
